Meet Our Founders

Dr Lolu Oshinowo MB.BS

(Ibadan) FRCOG (UK)

Dr. Lolu Oshinowo  graduated from the University of Ibadan, Medical School in 1978.

He proceeded to the United Kingdom in 1981 after the mandatory National Youth Service (NYSC) in 1980.

While in UK he did his residency training in Obstetrics & Gyneacology in various UK hospitals including the Leeds General Infirmary (Teaching Hospital).

He became a member of Royal College of Obstetrics and Gyneacology (MRCOG) in 1987.  He finally came back to Nigeria in 1990.

He worked in a private hospital in Lagos Nigeria till 1991 and then joined the Lagos State Health Management Board as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gyneacologist in Ayinke House at Ikeja General Hospital in 1992.

In September 1992, he started as one of the 4 pioneer partners of the Premier Specialists Medical Centre Lagos Nigeria.

He was awarded the fellow of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gyneacologists (FRCOG) in 1999, for his continued services and developments in the field of Obstetrics and Gyneacology.

He is also an associate of Laser Vaginal Rejuvenation Institute of America as well as Associate of Laser Assisted Obstetrics and Gyneacology Institute (LASSOG).

In Obstetrics, Dr. Oshinowo is interested in management of high risk pregnancies like (a) gestational diabetics (b) pregnancy with sickle cell diseases (SCD) etc.

In Gyneacological practice, he specialized in vaginal surgeries as well as designer vaginoplasty which includes surgical repairs for women with vaginal prolapses and its complications life stress incontinence.

He has special interest in operations of complicated myomectomies with the view of preservation of the uterus for child bearing.

DR. (Mrs.) Ehimwema Abiodun Eke-Aluko MBBS, FAAP FWACP, MBA

Dr. Abiodun Aluko started her medical career at the College of Medicine L.U.T.H., after attending the prestigious Queens College Lagos. She graduated from medical college with distinction in 1982.  Immediately after her graduation as a doctor she travelled to the US to further her education, where she specialized in the field of Peadiatrics again finishing at the 99% of all students nationwide in 1987.

She returned to Nigerian with a dream to bring back to Nigeria all that she had learnt, and initially worked in Eko Hospital Ltd., as Head of Department Paediatrics from 1990 – 1992 where she was credited with resuscitating a previously non performing Paediatric Department and lifting it to never seen before heights prior to her departure.

​

She left Eko Hospital to pursue her dream of providing world class medical service to Nigerian at the Premier Specialist Medical Centre, along with other colleagues.

​

Dr. Aluko is an entrepreneur, a philanthropist, a believer in the continuous learning and self-improvement, and a sports and yoga enthusiast. She is involved in several child focused charities the most recent being a charity started in Dec. 2018 with the lofty objective of getting “our” children off the streets and into regular or trade schools.

​

She championed the Defeat Autism Now  Movement in Nigeria by the creation of awareness of Autism and its management. She has special interest in Special needs, Paediatics, Allergic Respiratory Disease, Asthma and Neonatal Intensive Care  

​

Dr. Aluko holds her medical degree MBBS from the University of Lagos. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Peadiatrics (FAAP); Fellow of the West African College of Physicians (FWACP).

​

As a strong believer in continuous learning she has completed several online courses in management and is currently enrolled at the Lagos Business School Executive, Executive MBA Program, she expects to graduate in 2019.

She is the current HOD, Department of Paediatric.

Dr. Omotunde Ogunlaja MBBS, FMCPaed

Dr. O. Ogunlaja graduated from the University of Ibadan in 1975. He had Paediatric Residency Training at the University College Hospital Ibadan and he was Chief Resident in Paediatrics. 

He became a Fellow of the National Post Graduate Medical College in Paediatrics in 1985. He also had training in Paediatric Nephrology at The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto Canada. 

​

He joined the Lagos State Health Management Board as Consultant Paediatrician at the foremost Massey Street Children’s’ Hospital (MSCH) Lagos in 1986.

He was in charge of the Child Survival Strategy Unit which was in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Health UNICEF and WHO. 

​

He travelled widely within Nigeria and West Africa through the unit as facilitator in the training of trainers on child survival strategies including, Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) Genite Respiratory Infection,  and oral rehydration therapy. 

​

He retired as a Senior Consultant Paediatrician from MSCH in 1992 and Co-founded, The Premier Specialists’ Medical Centre where he practices as a general Paediatrician. 

​

Dr. Ogunlaja has more than 35 years experience in Paediatric practice with interest in the management of children with Sickle Cell Anaemia and Asthma. 

He is a member of Ikoyi Club 1938, Yoruba Tennis Club, Lagos and First Club Igbogbo. 

He holds an honorary chieftaincy title of Baawosan of Igbogbo, Lagos state and he is married with children.
